Reiki is an energy-based healing modality, It is clothes-on, hands-off, completely non-invasive. It was discovered or founded in the 1920s by Dr. Mikao Usui, culminating years of research into the healing methods of spiritual leaders like Jesus and the Buddha. The ability is passed on from Master to Student through attunements.

There are many “flavors” or styles of Reiki. As energy is all one, the styles of Reiki are aspects of the greater whole, perceptions to open the receiver’s heart to be willing to accept it, to make it more accessible.

Susy was attuned to Reiki in 2009. She has practiced and added to her Reiki methods through the years. It is a soothing modality, allowing energy to come through her from Source.  A side benefit of the practice is that the practitioner benefits as the client does.

Among the techniques Susy uses from her Reiki practice are:

• Body scans which help isolate areas of concern
• Blockage identification and removal
• Past life information
• Places where emotions and trauma may be held

A benefit to body scans is identifying potential physical issues before they get out of hand. As a medical intuitive, she tunes into your body to seek out any anomalies which could arise. She can recommend breathing techniques, visualization, maybe an herb or remedy to help you,
